Thus, pointing out how their demand of secrecy in discussing how they are going to continue watching us continously, is basically an epitome of ironic hypocrisy writ large.

That you point to the GOP to blame for this, when it has happened under Obomber's watch (and, the post-Snowden bills to end the mass spying had sponsors on both the R and D sides, though only a couple of each) shows that this is very much a bipartisan atrocity.
